Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Erste tschechische Ausgabe. - Mimeographisches Typoskript von Claude Lanzmanns monumentalem Dokumentarfilm Shoah aus dem Jahr 1985. Der neunstündige Film präsentiert Lanzmanns Interviews mit Überlebenden, Zeugen und Tätern des Holocaust. Der Film wurde in Osteuropa erst nach dem Öffnen des Eisernen Vorhangs aufgeführt, in der Tschechoslowakei wurde er erstmals im Mai 1991 gezeigt. Das Transkript des Films wurde jedoch bereits zuvor übersetzt und in der vorliegenden Samisdat-Ausgabe verbreitet. Es erschien in der Reihe "Edice Expedice" des Schriftstellers Václav Havel, eines führenden Mitglieds der Oppositionsbewegung, der Ende 1989 der erste Präsident der freien Tschechoslowakei wurde. - Im Schnitt minimal fleckig. Insgesamt sehr gut erhalten.

The nine-hour film presents Lanzmann's interviews with survivors, witnesses, and perpetrators of the Holocaust. The film was not shown in Eastern Europe until after the Iron Curtain was raised, it was first shown in Czechoslovakia in May 1991. However, the film's transcript had already been translated and distributed in this samizdat edition. It appeared in the "Edice Expedice" series by writer Václav Havel, a leading member of the opposition movement who became the first president of free Czechoslovakia at the end of 1989. - Minimal staining throughout. Overall, very well preserved.
