Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Hirschfelds zwischen 1899 und 1923 erschienenes "Jahrbuch" stellt bis heute eine einzigartige Sammlung von Forschungsbeiträgen über sexuelle und geschlechtliche Minderheiten, insbesondere Homosexuelle, Transvestiten und Hermaphroditen in der Geschichte, Ethnologie, Medizin, Politik, Jurisdiktion, Biologie, Literatur, Kunst und Religion dar. Jeder Band mit Eugen Wilhelms "Bibliographie der Homosexualität", ein umfangreiches Verzeichnis der seit dem 18. Jahrhundert erschienener Schriften zur (Homo-)Sexualität. Bd. VII, 2 auch mit umfangreicher Bibliographie von F.v. Neugebauer zum Hermaphroditismus beim Menschen (über 2000 Nummern). - Vereinzelt leicht stockfleckig, insgesamt gutes Exemplar.

Modern Literature and Art – Hirschfeld's "Yearbook," published between 1899 and 1923, remains a unique collection of research articles on sexual and gender minorities, particularly homosexuals, transvestites, and hermaphrodites in history, ethnology, medicine, politics, jurisdiction, biology, literature, art, and religion. Each volume includes Eugen Wilhelm's "Bibliography of Homosexuality," a comprehensive list of writings on (homo)sexuality published since the 18th century. Vol. VII, 2 also includes an extensive bibliography by F.v. Neugebauer on hermaphroditism in humans (over 2000 entries). - Occasional slight foxing, overall good copy.
