Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Viktorianisches pornographisches Werk, welches in Form einer Autobiographie sadistische Erziehungs- und Bestrafungspraktiken des 19. Jahrhunderts behandelt. Der Autor beschreibt seine Erfahrung mit der sog. "Petticoat Discipline" durchgeführt durch seine Gouvernante, nachdem er mit einem Dienstmädchen im Bett erwischt wurde. "Petticoat Discipline" oder "petticoating" war eine Form der Demütigung von ungehorsamen Jungen, bei der sie Mädchen Kleidung tragen mussten, und ist heute noch als Fetisch oder Subgenre erotischer Literatur zu finden. Magnus Hirschfeld lobte das Werk "Gynecocracy" für seine psychologischen Erkenntnisse. - Tls. minimal stockfleckig. Insgesamt sehr gut erhalten.
