Moderne Literatur und Kunst – (Budapest), (1930). Entworfen von Sándor Bortnyik. Original-Lithografie in Blau-, Rot- und Orangetönen. 16 × 23,8 cm.

Modern Literature and Art – Extremely rare, not included in the Dreher Collection of the Hungarian Museum of Trade and Hospitality. Very rare advertising poster for the Hungarian beer brand Dreher, designed by Sándor Bortnyik (1893-1976). He was known in the 1920s and 1930s for his cubist-futuristic and clearly structured poster designs, which often showcased modern industrial products to great effect. His work combines typical characteristics of modernism: flat colour design, strong geometrisation and functional clarity. A Hungarian painter and graphic designer. He was influenced by Cubism, Expressionism, Constructivism and the Bauhaus.

Premium and taxation
This piece is subject to differential taxation. There is a 29,5% buyer's premium on the hammer price. The value added tax is included but not displayable according to §25a UstG.

A pickup of this work is possible in our premises at Potsdamer Str. 16, 14163 Berlin by appointment. If you wish a shipment of the work, please contact us for a consultation and shipping calculation. Framed tickets are shipped exclusively by a shipping company due to the risk of breakage. Postal shipping is only carried out at the express request and risk of the buyer.
