The Russian Avant Garde Book 1910-1934, no. 674. - 'Krasnaja Niva' was a Soviet illustrated magazine published between 1923 and 1931 as a supplement to the newspaper 'Isvestiya'. - Paper slightly time-stained, otherwise a well-preserved copy of the magazine, which is rare despite its high circulation as a supplement to 'Izvestiya'. - Enclosed: Krasnaja Niva, year 8, no. 23-24 (August 30th, 1930). With cover design in colour lithography and offset, with photomontage. Moscou, Isvestiya Publishing House, 1930. 23 (1) p. 4°. (30,5 x 23). Multicolour original publisher's thread-stiched wrappers. - With slight wear at margins, slightly time-stained. - Enclosed: Zhenskij Zhurnal. 2 issues. Year 4, no. 10 (Oct. 1929) and 11 (Nov. 1929). With constructivist cover design in colour lithography and offset, with photomontage. Moscou, Ogonjok, 1929. Each with 40 p. 4°. (33,5 x 25). Multicolour original publisher's thread-stiched wrappers (spine with faults, stiches rusty). - 2 issues of this monthly magazine for emancipated Soviet women. - With minor tears at margins, slightly time-stained and foxy.
