Die fantasievollen Zeichnungen mit den flächig gesetzten Farben wurde vom Atelier André Marty "au patron" koloriert. - Papierbedingt gebräunt. Farben leuchtend.

Original wrappers bound in somewhat later half morocco with gilt stamped spine title. - First Edition. - Collection of eight fairy tales by Perrault, including Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Riding Hood and Puss in Boots, each accompanied by a colour plate and numerous text illustrations by the French Art Deco artist Lucien Laforge (1889-1952). The imaginative drawings were coloured "au patron" by the André Marty studio. - Browned due to paper. Bright colours.
