Geschichtswissenschaften – Prachtvolle Goucahe von einem Hofball im Berliner Schloss. Es sind zahlreiche Gäste versammelt, die mit Tanz und Gespräch beschäftigt sind. Im Mittelgrund zwischen zwei Pfeilern des großen Saals befindet sich eine Gruppe von Menschen, die wohlmöglich Mitglieder der preußischen Königsfamilie darstellen. Ihre Physiognomie ist detailierter und stärker ausgearbeitet, als die der umstehenden Figuren. - Karton fleckig und mit Randläsuren. Insgesamt prachtvoll ausgearbeitete Malerei mit starken Kontrasten und deckenden Farben.

Numerous guests are gathered, engaged in dancing and conversation. In the middle ground between two pillars of the great hall is a group of people who may represent members of the Prussian royal family. Their physiognomies are more detailed and more elaborate than those of the surrounding figures. - Cardboard spotty and with marginal wear. Overall, a magnificently executed painting with strong contrasts and opaque colors.
