The author is thought to be Daniel Defoe. - The War of the Spanish Succession (1701-1714) was of great significance for Great Britain, as the ascension of the Duke of Anjou to the Spanish throne shifted the balance of power on the continent and in European colonisation worldwide in favour of the House of Bourbon. - Somewhat browned and stained.
