Literatur des 17. bis 19. Jahrhunderts – Die 100 Fabeln des italienischen Dichters Gabriele Faerno (1520-1561), welche erstmals 1563 auf Anfrage von Papst Pius IV. veröffentlicht wurden. In dieser von Perrault übersetzten Ausgabe aus dem 18. Jahrhundert werden die Fabeln von je einer Radierung des Künstlers Claude du Bosc begleitet. - Ränder minimal gebräunt. Insgesamt sehr gut erhalten.

Half leather with gilt stamped spine label (slightly rubbed). - The 100 fables by the Italian poet Gabriele Faerno (1520-1561), which were first published in 1563 at the request of Pope Pius IV. In this 18th-century edition translated by Perrault, the fables are each accompanied by an etching by the artist Claude du Bosc. - Margins minimally browned. Overall in very good condition.
