Es thematisiert die Vergnügungen und Freizeitaktivitäten, die den Besuchern des Bades zur Verfügung standen, und gibt Einblicke in den kulturellen und gesellschaftlichen Rahmen eines 18./19. Jahrhundertlichen Badeortes, der mehr als nur medizinische Heilzwecke erfüllte, sondern auch als Ort für gesellschaftliche Begegnungen, Tanz, Spiel und Zerstreuung dient. Der zweite, hier vorgebundene Teil mit eigenem Titel: J. M. Dietmanns Untersuchung des Nieder-Oesterreichischen Badner-Bades. In Latein. Sprache hrsg., ins Teutsche übers. von J. N.
