Buchwesen - Faksimileausgaben – Nummerierte Vorzugsausgabe in Ganzleder. - Auf ein Drittel verkleinertes Faksimile der berühmten mittelalterlichen Handschrift, welche sich heute in der Österr. Nationalbibliothek befindet. Die monumentale Prachthandschrift entstand zwischen 1390 und 1400 in Prag im Auftrage des böhmischen Königs Wenzel IV. (1361-1419), geschrieben und auf kostbarste Weise illuminiert im Stil der internationalen Gotik, dem "Weichen Stil". Bei dem Bibeltext handelt es sich um eine der ältesten Übersetzungen des Alten Testaments ins Deutsche.

This monumental manuscript was produced between 1390 and 1400 in Prague by order of the Bohemian King Wenceslas IV (1361-1419), written and illuminated in the most precious way in the style of the international Gothic, the "soft style". The biblical text is one of the oldest translations of the Old Testament into German.
