Carnet de dessins (Skizzenbuch). Mit 10 Original Bleistiftzeichnungen und einer mont. Tuschezeichnung. Paris 1835-1850. Quer-8° (20,5 x 27,5 cm). Blindgepr. Ldr. d. Zt. mit Rückenvergoldung, goldgepr. Deckelfiletten, Innenkantenvergoldung u. Goldschnitt (berieben und bestoßen, vorderes Gelenk angebrochen).

Gemälde, Zeichnungen u. Grafiken 16. bis 19. Jhd. – Hervorragende Zeichnungen des franz. Malers und Zeichners F. A. Pernot. - Die Zeichnungen zeigen verschiedene Gebäude (Bauernhäuser und eine Kirche), Hunde und Jagdszenen sowie eine alte Frau am Nähtisch. - Pernot gehörte zum Umfeld der französischen Romantiker (Châteaubriand, Lamartine, V. Hugo, Delacroix u. a.). Er wurde 1826 von König Charles X. zum Meister der Zeichnung ernannt. - Wohl einige Zeichnungen entnommen, gut erhalten und dekorativ gebunden.

Blind-printed leather with gilt spine, gilt-stamped cover fillets, gilt inner edges and gilt edges (rubbed and bumped, front hinge cracked). - Excellent drawings by the French painter and draughtsman F. A. Painter and draughtsman F. A. Pernot. - The drawings show various buildings (farmhouses and a church), dogs and hunting scenes as well as an old woman at a sewing table. - Pernot belonged to the circle of French Romantics (Châteaubriand, Lamartine, V. Hugo, Delacroix and others). He was appointed Master of Drawing by King Charles X in 1826. - Probably some drawings previously removed, well preserved and decoratively bound.
