Orts- und Landeskunde mit verschiedenen Schlagworten – Selten, als Gesamtfolge für uns derzeit laut Worldcat und KVK nur in zwei Bibliotheken nachweisbar (Staatsbibliothek Berlin, SLUB Dresden). - Gezeigt werden je idyllische Landschaftsansichten rund um Meißen mit Staffagefiguren. - Nach den Zeichnungen Johann Georg Wagners von dem Dresdner Zeichner und Kupferstecher Johann Adolph Darnstedt gestochen. - Teils etw. fleckig und im Rand blass stockfleckig (einzelne Bll. etw. stärker betroffen), punktuell mit leichten Oberflächenbereibungen, 1 Bl. unten rechts leicht knickspurig. Insgesamt gut erhalten. Prachtvolle, kontraststarke und nuancierte Drucke.

Local and Regional Studies – Collection of 6 original copper engravings. Each inscribed in the plate 'J. G. Wagner pinx:' and 'J. A. Darnstedt sc:', titled in French and with numbering of the various views. - Rare, as a complete cycle currently only verifiable for us in two libraries according to Worldcat and KVK (Staatsbibliothek Berlin, SLUB Dresden). - Each depicts idyllic landscape views around Meissen with staffage figures. - Engraved after the drawings by Johann Georg Wagner by the Dresden draughtsman and copper engraver Johann Adolph Darnstedt. - Partly slightly stained and with pale foxing in margins (some sheets slightly stronger affected), with slight surface rubbing in few spots, 1 sheet slightly creased in the lower right. Overall in well-preserved condition. Splendid, high-contrast and nuanced impressions.
