Photographie - Photographen – Die Charlotte war einer Kreuzerfregatte der Kaislerichen Marine und wurde 1886 erstmals in Betrieb genommen. Sie wurde bis in das Jahr 1889 eingesetzt und dann nach einer Grundüberholung im Früjahr 1897 wieder aktiviert. Die Photographien zeigen das Schiff, die Besatzung und Gäste auf dem Kreuzer, sowie die Zielorte. - Leicht fleckig, Ränder gebräunt. Insgesamt gut erhalten.

Photography – 50 plates with numerous photographic illustrations. Original Half canvas with gold-stamped title (rubbed and bumped). - The Charlotte was a cruiser frigate of the Imperial Navy and was first commissioned in 1886. She was in service until 1889 and then reactivated after a major overhaul in the spring of 1897. The photographs show the ship, the crew and guests on board the cruiser, as well as the destinations. - Slightly stained, edges browned. Overall, well preserved.
