Photographie - Photographen – Photoalbum der "Schiffshebeformation", der Flussrettungsformation auf der Donau der österreichisch-ungarischen Armee im Ersten Weltkrieg. Zeigt die Bergung von zivilen und militärischen Schiffswracks (darunter der Flusswächter der Enns-Klasse, SMS Inn, das größte havarierte Donau-Kriegsschiff), die während der Operationen des Ersten Weltkriegs in Serbien und Rumänien gesunken sind. Über die Einheit "Schiffshebebeformation", deren offizieller Name wahrscheinlich Schiffshebe- und Bergekommandos Donauflottilen lautete, ist sehr wenig bekannt, doch dienten mit Sicherheit Kriegsgefangene in dieser Einheit. - Tls. leicht ausgesilbert, eine Photgraphie mit Fleck, insgesamt gut erhalten.

Vintages. - Photo album of "Schiffshebeformation" the River Salvage Formation of the Austro-Hungarian Army in the First World War. Showing the rescue of both civilian and military shipwrecks (among them Enns-class river monitor, SMS Inn, the largest wrecked Danube warship) which were sunk during the operations of WWI in Serbia and Romania. Very little is know about the unit of "Schiffshebeformation" whose official name was probably Schiffshebe- und Bergekommandos Donauflottilen, however, POWs for sure served in the unit. - Slightly silvered in places, one photograph with stain, overall in good condition.
