Im internationalen Handel nicht nachsweisbar. 4x im Worldcat. - "Mit einer Nachschrift: Was bietet und leistet Colberg als Curort, und in welchen Krankheiten ist es vor allen anderen Bädern zu empfehlen von Dr. Hirschfeld" (d.i. Magnus Hirschfeld (*1868, Sohn des jüdischen Medizinalrats Dr. Hermann Hirschfeld in Kolberg). - Girschners Ausführungen in Form einer Reisebeschreibung nach Kolberg behandeln außerdem u.a.: Bernstein, Seeconchylien, See-Algen und Strandpflanzen, Seefische, Zoologisches, Klima, Maikuhle u. Strandschloss, St. Marien-Domkirche, Geschichte Kolbergs, Wasserkorso, Ausflüge in die Umgebung Kolbergs. - Girschner (1821-1885) war ein dt. Pädagoge u. Autor, der als Lehrer u. Oberlehrer in Parchim u. in Kolberg sowie von 1855-1858 als Direktor der Realschule in Kolberg wirkte. - Mit gedruckten Wismungsblatt für den Geheimen Ober-Regierungsrat und Kolberger Ehrenbürger Dr. Wiese zu Berlin. - Papierbedingt gebräunt, tls. etw. stockfleckig, sonst ing. gut erhalten.

Geography and Travel – First, probably only edition. Very rare. Not traceable in international trade. 4x in Worldcat. - Blind embossed red cloth with gilt stamped spine and title (soiled, somewhat stained and bumped, joints partly cracking). - With a postscript as listed above by Dr. Hirschfeld" (i.e. Magnus Hirschfeld (*1868, son of the Jewish medical councillor Dr. Hermann Hirschfeld in Kolberg). - Girschner's remarks in the form of a travelogue to Kolberg also deal with, among other things: Amber, sea conchylia, seaweed and beach plants, sea fish, zoology, climate, Maikuhle and beach castle, St. Mary's Cathedral, history of Kolberg, water corso, excursions in the surroundings of Kolberg. - Girschner (1821-1885), was a German pedagogue and author, who worked as teacher and head teacher in Parchim and in Kolberg and from 1855-1858 as principal of the secondary school in Kolberg. - With printed dedication sheet for the privy senior government councillor and honorary citizen of Kolberg, Dr. Wiese in Berlin. - Browned due to paper, some foxing, otherwise in good condition.
