Geography and Travel – First German edition. - One of the most generously illustrated travelling accounts of China. - With engraved title, engraved portrait, 1 folded copper engraving map, 34 folded copper engraving plates and 109 text copper engravings. - Contemporary vellum, with handwritten title and two clasps (one loose), (somewhat stained, joints slightly broken). - The plates with ills of views, costumes, plants, animals etc. - Title with stamp removed and name crossed out or small notes, overall a nice copy.
