(Henze V, 209) Er wurde zuerst bekannt durch seine Suche und das Auffinden von D. Livingston. Seine zweite Exepedition auf den afrikanischen Kontinent widmete sich der Such nach der Nil Quelle. Drei Jahre war der britische Forscher unterwegs um seiner Theorie, der Nil würde an dem Viktoriasee entspringen, auf den Grund zu gehen. - Angebunden an Bd. 2: A Catalogue of American and Foreign Books Published or Imported by Messrs. Livingston. His second expedition to the African continent was dedicated to the search for the source of the Nile. The British explorer traveled for three years to get to the bottom of his theory that the Nile had its source at Lake Victoria. - Connected to Vol. 2: A Catalogue of American and Foreign Books Published or Imported by Messrs.
