Seine Wildtierstudien entstanden, anders als damals üblich, in der freien Natur und nicht in Zoologischen Gärten. - Im Rand minimal fleckig. Insgesamt sehr gut erhaltene und prachtvolle Radierung.

Partially mounted under passe-partout. - One of 60 numbered copies. - Known for his animal paintings, Wilhelm Kuhnert (1865-1926) was a German painter, author, and illustrator. Unlike was customary at the time, his wildlife studies were created in the wild and not in zoological gardens. - Minimal staining at the edges. Overall, a very well-preserved and magnificent etching.
