Überwiegend monogrammiert "A.D.", teils datiert und ortsbezeichnet "Paris". Fest montiert in schlichtes Pp. Album d. Zt. (23 x 29 cm) (etw. beschabt u. berieben).

Naturwissenschaften – Aus dem Besitz der Schweizer Adelsfamilie Grand d'Hauteville, im Innendeckel mit Exlibris der "Bibliotheque du Chateau d'Hauteville". - Mit fein ausgeführten Zeichnungen, teils exotischer Tiere wie einem Löwen, Leoparden, aber auch Ziegen, Pferde, Hunde, ein Hirsch u.a. - Die Zeichnungen teils nach Arbeiten von Künstlern wie Nicolaes Visscher, Paulus Potter, Dirk Stoop u.a. - Die montierten Arbeiten je mit eingezeichneter Rahmung in brauner Tinte - Im Blattrand minimal (finger)fleckig, Gelenke angebrochen, hierdurch Bindung leicht gelockert. Insgesamt gut. Kontraststarke und ausgesprochen feinzeichnerische Arbeiten.

Natural Sciences – Album with 12 original sepia drawings with depictions of animals. Pencil and ink, partly washed on paper. Mostly monogrammed "A.D.", some dated and inscribed "Paris". Firmly mounted in cont. card album (somewhat scuffed and rubbed). - From the property of the Swiss noble family Grand d'Hauteville, inside cover with Exlibris of the "Bibliotheque du Chateau d'Hauteville". - With finely executed drawings, partly of exotic animals such as a lion, leopard, but also goats, horses, dogs, a stag, etc. - The drawings partly after works by artists such as Nicolaes Visscher, Paulus Potter, Dirk Stoop, etc. - The mounted works each with framing drawn in brown ink - Minimally (finger)stained in margins, joints cracked, thus binding slightly loosened. Good overall. High-contrast and exceptionally finely drawn works.
