Ayer, 517-518. - Nissen IVB, 771. - Band II-IV wurden von dem Bosnisch-Herzegovinischem Landesmuseum in Sarajewo herausgegeben und behandeln die Avifauna von Bulgarien, Griechenland und Montenegro. Der erste Band ist über dreißig Jahre nach dem dritten Band von den Analen des naturhistorischen Museums in Wien herausgegeben worden und umfasst die Vogelarten von Bosnien und Herzegowina. - Othmar Reiser war ein österreichischer Ornithologe und Biologe, der viele Reisen in den Ländern des Balkans unternahm. - Mit 7 farblithographischen Abbildungen von Vogelarten der Region. - Ränder teils leicht gebräunt. Lithographien farbprächtig. Insgesamt sehr gut erhalten.

Natural Sciences – Zoology. - Ornithology. - 4 vols. With 9 full-page coloured plates and 3 folded maps. Original half canvas with gold-stamped Rtitel and Dtitel. Partly untrimmed book block. (Rubbed, bumped and with handling marks. Spine sun-bleached.) - Volumes II-IV were published by the Bosnian-Herzegovinian State Museum in Sarajevo and deal with the avifauna of Bulgaria, Greece and Montenegro. The first volume was published over thirty years after the third volume by the Analen of the Natural History Museum in Vienna and covers the bird species of Bosnia and Herzegovina. - Othmar Reiser was an Austrian ornithologist and biologist who traveled extensively in the Balkan countries. - With 7 color lithographs of bird species from the region. - Edges slightly browned in places. Lithographs in rich color. Overall very well preserved.
