Naturwissenschaften – Der Lithographiestein des Litographen Ludwig Steffen zeigt fünf verschiedene Darstellungen von Schildkröten, u. a. der Lederschildkröte und der Riesenschildkröte. Die Abbildungen sind je in drei Sprachen betitelt. Sie waren wohl für eine Tafel aus einem Buch vorgesehen. - Leicht fleckig. Insgesamt gut erhalten.

Limestone. - This lithographic stone by lithographer Ludwig Steffen shows five different depictions of turtles, including the leatherback turtle and the giant tortoise. The illustrations are each titled in three languages. They were probably intended for a plate in a book. - Slightly stained. Overall, well preserved.
