S. - Der Anatom Theile (1801-1879) u. der Chemiker u. Pharmazeut Wackenroder (1798-1854) waren beide Dozenten bzw. Professoren in Jena und leiteten seit 1828 zusammen das dortige Pharmazeutische Institut. Theile wurde 1834 ordentlicher Professor für Anatomie in Bern. - Papierbedingt etwas gebräunt, braunfleckig, unbeschnittene Büttenblätter, insg. gut erhalten.

Unified bound contemp. cardboard with gilt stamped label to spine (rubbed, bumped). - Contains (according to back titles): Pharmacognosy by Prof. Theile. - Analytical Chemistry by Prof. Wackenroder. - Pharmacy by Wackenroder. - The anatomist Theile (1801-1879) and the chemist and pharmacist Wackenroder (1798-1854) were both lecturers and professors in Jena and jointly headed the Pharmaceutical Institute there from 1828. Theile became a full professor of anatomy in Bern in 1834. - Slightly browned due to paper, brown stained, untrimmed laid paper, overall in good condition.
