Calendarium Perpetuum. Um 1900. Gezeichnetes Kalenderblatt. Tinte und Aquarell auf Karton, mit Aussparungen für darunter liegende Scheiben zur Angabe von Jahr, Monat sowie Tageszeiten. 28,5 x 35 cm. Gerahmt unter Glas. (37,7 x 44,7 cm mit Rahmen). Verso mit Holzdeckel, dieser mit Aussparungen zur Bedienung.

Astronomie

Naturwissenschaften – Ewiger Kalender betitelt in Latein "Calendarium Perpetuum", mit Beschriftung in deutscher Sprache. Zentral mit einer Windrose, in welche die Angabe des Jahres eingebettet ist. Links mit einer Scheibe zur Angabe von Monat mit entsprechendem Tierkreiszeichen, Sonnenauf- und Untergang sowie Länge von Tag und Nacht, rechts mit Angabe der Wochentage. Anhand der Aussparungen in der Rückwand können die Pappscheiben gedreht und der Kalender hierdurch eingestellt werden. Mittig mit einer Zeichnung eines Bienenstocks sowie der Beschriftung "Floreat Commercium" (= Lass den Handel florieren) sowie einer weiteren Zeichnung eines Fischers vor einer Landschaft mit einzelnen Häusern, einer Brücke sowie einem kleinen Fischerboot. - Insgesamt dem Alter entsprechende Gebrauchsspuren, der Rahmen mit Defekten, jedoch intakt, die Scheiben funktionsfähig. Insgesamt in entsprechend guter Erhaltung.

Natural Sciences – Astronomy. - Drawn calendar page. Ink and watercolour on cardboard, with cut-outs for the discs underneath to indicate the year, month and times of day. Framed under glass. With wooden lid on verso, this with cut-outs for use. - Perpetual calendar titled in Latin "Calendarium Perpetuum", with inscription in German. In the center with a compass rose in which the year is embedded. On the left with a disk indicating the month with the corresponding zodiac sign, sunrise and sunset as well as the length of day and night, on the right indicating the days of the week. The cardboard discs can be rotated using the cut-outs in the back wall, allowing the calendar to be adjusted. In the center with a drawing of a beehive and the inscription "Floreat Commercium" (= Let trade flourish) as well as another drawing of a fisherman in front of a landscape with individual houses, a bridge and a small fishing boat. - Overall with traces of use appropriate to its age, the frame with defects but intact, the discs in functional condition. Overall in accordingly good condition.
