Sammlung von 9 Briefen u. 1 Karte in Typoskript, 2 eigenhändigen Briefen u. 1 eh. Ansichtskarte, je mit eigenhändiger Unterschrift, sowie 1 gedruckten Dankeskarte mit eh. Zusatz an den Ministerialdirektor und Wirkl. Geh. Oberregierungsrat Dr. Hermann von Seefeld (1863-1943) in Berlin. Löwenstein bei Heilbronn, 30. Mai 1925 - 11. März 1929. Mit 9 gelaufenen Briefumschlägen (diese tls. etw. gebräunt u. mit Einrissen).

Autographen – Der deutsche Schriftsteller Manfred Kyber (1880 Riga - 1933 Löwenstein) wurde v.a. mit seinen außergewöhnlichen Tiergeschichten bekannt. Er war aus Tierliebe Vegetarier und setzte sich in vielen Organisationen für Tierschutz ein. Neben seinen Märchen und Tiergeschichten verfasste er seine bedeutendsten Werke über Tierschutz und erhielt 1930 vom Bureau International Humanitaire Zoophile in Genf den Welttierschutzpreis für literarische Arbeiten. - NDB 13 (1982), S. 354f. - Die Briefe u.a. über ein gemeinsames Treffen in Heilbronn, die Schweiz, Tierschutz, das Verbot des Schächtens in Bayern, die Veröffentlichung eines Aufsatzes des Verbandes gegen die Vivisektion in der Zeitschrift "Uhu", Seefelds Scheiden aus dem Staatsdienst, Anleitungen für von Seefeld zur Katzenhaltung, das Fangen von Katzen in Wilmersdorf mit Fangeisen. - Mit einem masch. Brief des Ullstein-Verlags in Kopie mit Stellungnahme zur Auseinandersetzung im "Uhu" zum Thema Vivisektion u. 1 Photopostkarte mit Portrait Kybers, diese verso mit eh. Widmung. - Die Briefe gefalt., insg. wohlerhalten.

Autographs – Collection of 9 letters and 1 card in typescript, 2 handwritten letters and 1 postcard, each signed, as well as 1 printed thank you card with handwritten addition to the Ministerial Director and real Privy Councillor Dr. Hermann von Seefeld (1863-1943) in Berlin. With 9 used envelopes (some of them somewhat browned and with tears). - The German writer Manfred Kyber (1880-1933) became known primarily for his extraordinary animal stories. He was a vegetarian out of love for animals and campaigned for animal protection in many organizations. In addition to his fairy tales and animal stories, he wrote his most important works on animal protection and received the World Animal Protection Prize for literary works from the Bureau International Humanitaire Zoophile in Geneva in 1930. - Letters about, among other things, a meeting in Heilbronn, Switzerland, animal protection, the ban on slaughtering in Bavaria, the publication of an essay by the "Verband gegen die Vivisektion" in the magazine "Uhu", Seefeld's retirement from the civil service, instructions for von Seefeld on keeping cats, catching cats in Wilmersdorf with trapping irons. - With a copy of a letter in transcript from the Ullstein publishing house with a statement on the debate in "Uhu" on the subject of vivisection and 1 photographic postcard with portrait of Kyber, with his dedication on verso. - The letters folded, altogether well preserved.
