II, 381,9. - Diese bestand zum einen aus der grossen Sammlung Kirchers sowie der Schenkung des italienischen Aristokraten Alfonso Donnini. Basis der Sammlung waren das ethnographische Material, die wissenschaftlichen Geräte und die Kuriositaten, die von den Jesuiten in der ganzen Welt zusammengetragen wurden. Die 48 Taf. am Schluss (dabei vier schöne Kupfertitel bzw. Zwischentitel) stellen Muscheln dar und sind teilw. dem Buch von Buonanni Ricreatione dell'occhio... nell' osservatione delle Chicciole, 1681, nachgestochen. Das Porträt von Prinz Ruspoli nicht als Frontispiz sondern nach Titelbl. eingebunden. - Notizen auf Innendeckel, leere Rücks. von Titel u. Porträt fleckig, 1. Indexbl. mit größ. Einriß, insgesamt gutes, sauberes Exemplar.
