Ausgabe des klassischen Quellenwerkes mit den Kupferporträts nach den Holzschnitten der Originalausgabe von 1568. - Fowler 349 - Gamba 1726 ("Edizione bella e magnifica"). - Frontispiz mit hinterlegter Randfehlstelle (mit etwas Bildverlust), erste 9 Porträts mit hinterlegter Fehlstelle im Innenrand (ohne Bildverlust), insgesamt gutes, sehr sauberes und gereinigtes Exemplar.

Architecture – First edition of the classic source work edited by G. Bottari, with copperplate portraits based on the woodcuts in the original edition of 1568. - Fowler 349 - Gamba 1726 ("Edizione bella e magnifica"). - Modern half-canvas. - Frontispiece with backed marginal defect (with some loss of image), first 9 portraits with backed defect in the inner margin (without loss of image), overall a good, very clean and cleaned copy.
