Sammlung von 32 Original-Radierungen mit italienischen Ansichten. (Leipzig, Wigand, um 1852-1853). Blattmaße 27 x 35,5 cm. Je unterhalb der Darstellung in der Platte signiert und datiert. Lose eingelegt in mod. Lwd.-Mappe mit Deckeltitel.

Architektur – Komplette Folge. - Andresen I, 22-53: "Die Ansichten aus Rom und seiner Umgebung. Folge von 32 Blättern in den Jahren 1852 und 1853 zu Leipzig für den Herausgeber Georg Wigand auf Stahl radirt, mit dem Titel: 'Rom 32 Original-Radirungen von Carl Sprosse' und Inhaltsangabe der 32 nicht numerirten Platten auf dem mit Lettern gedruckten Umschlag. Jedes Blatt trägt im Unterrand die beziehentliche Aufschrift und links oder rechts dicht unter der Ansicht den Namen des Künstlers nebst der Jahreszahl." - Vorliegend ohne den von Andresen erwähnten Umschlag. - Teils etwas braunfleckig, 2 Bll. stärker. Insgesamt sehr gutes und vollständiges Exemplar der seltenen Folge.

Loosely inserted in mod. cloth portfolio with cover title. - Complete series. - Present copy without the wrappers mentioned by Andresen. - Partly somewhat brownstained, 2 leaves stronger. Overall a very good and complete copy of the rare set.
