Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Eins von 120 Exemplaren der Vorzugsausgabe auf Rives. - Exemplar für Lucie Weill. - Das maritime Thema des Romans von Vercel wurde von dem in Vietnam geborenen franzöischen Maler René Genis in 30 farbintensiven Lithographien umgesetzt. Der dazu passende tiefblaue Maroquineinband stammt von der Pariser Buchhändlerin, Galeristin und Verlegerin Lucie Weill. Zusammen mit den Tafeln aus Furnierholz passt dieser thematisch zu dem Thema des Buches. Sie war bis in das Jahr 1978 als Buchbinderin tätig. - Minimal mit Abklatsch der Lithographien. Im Schnitt stockfleckig. Mit farbprächtigen Lithographien. Insgesamt ein sehr gut erhaltenes Exemplar mit prachtvollem Einband.

(Minimally bumped.) - One of 120 copies of the special edition on Rives. - Copy for Lucie Weill. - The maritime theme of Vercel's novel was realized by the Vietnamese-born French painter René Genis in 30 intensely coloured lithographs. The matching deep blue maroquin binding was designed by the Parisian bookseller, gallery owner and publisher Lucie Weill. Together with the veneer wood panels, it fits in with the theme of the book. She worked as a bookbinder until 1978. - Minimal copy of the lithographs. Foxing in the cut. With colorful lithographs. Overall a very well-preserved copy with splendid binding.
