Ohne Titel. 2010. Radierung auf Velin. 24 x 15,5 cm (25 x 16,5 cm). Signiert, datiert und nummeriert. - Insgesamt sehr gut. Die Radierung mit schmalem Rand prachtvoll und kräftig im Druck, mit zartem Plattenton und mitdruckender Facette, das Buch äußerst wohlerhalten und in sauberem Zustand.

Projekte-Verlag Cornelius GmbH, Halle (Saale), 2010. - Die vorliegende Radierung erschien als Beigabe der Publikation "Störfall/Aschebilder" von Christa Wolf und Günter Uecker. - Der Reaktorunfall von Tschernobyl hatte nicht nur tiefgreifende politische und gesellschaftliche Folgen, sondern beeinflusste auch bedeutende Künstler. Christa Wolf thematisiert in ihrem Werk "Störfall" die kollektive und individuelle Verantwortung in einer von Krisen geprägten Welt und reflektiert die Auswirkungen weitreichender Entscheidungen auf Bewusstsein und Gesellschaft. Dem Text gegenüber gestellt werden die Aschebilder Günther Ueckers, welche ebenfalls eine direkte Reaktion des Künstlers auf die Katastrophe darstellen und Thematiken wie die Angst sowie die Zerbrechlichkeit der menschlichen Existenz aufgreifen. Das Motiv der Radierung, eine Hand, kann hierbei als Symbol für die Verletzlichkeit, die Fragilität des Menschen gegenüber der unbezwingbaren Kraft von Natur und Technologie verstanden werden. Beide Werke haben bis heute in ihrer Aktualität der Thematik nichts eingebüßt und sind "(...) auf bedrückende Weise immer noch aktuell: Wir lassen Zeit verstreichen, die wir für tiefgreifende Änderungen unserer Lebensweisen nutzen müssten" (Christa Wolf, Bilder aus Asche, 2010).

In her work "Störfall", Christa Wolf addresses collective and individual responsibility in a world characterised by crises and reflects on the effects of far-reaching decisions on consciousness and society. The text is juxtaposed with Günther Uecker's ash paintings, which also represent the artist's direct reaction to the catastrophe and address themes such as fear and the fragility of human existence. The motif of the etching, a hand, can be understood here as a symbol of the vulnerability and fragility of human beings in the face of the indomitable power of nature and technology. Both works have lost nothing of their topicality to this day and are "(...) still relevant in a depressing way: we are letting time pass that we should be using to make profound changes to our way of life" (Christa Wolf, Bilder aus Asche, 2010).
