Le coq d'or et d'autres contes. Illustré par b. Zworykine. Mit 20 Tafeln, wovon 1 Titelblatt, 4 illustrierten Zwischentiteln und 4 mit großen Vignetten und Initalen angereicherten Bordüren in teils gold- und silbergehöhter Chromolithographie, 12 großen illustrierten Kopfvignetten in rostbraun, teil goldgehöht. Paris, Piazza (Lith. Barataud), 1925. 2 w. Bl., 2 Bl., 76 S., 2 Bl., 2 2. Bl. 4°. Originale franz. Br. mit illustr. Umschlagtit. in Chromolith. (Rücken mit Längseinrissen), im Kartonschuber (mit Lichtrand, etwas beschabt, bestoßen und fleckig).

Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Exemplar h.c. mit Widmung des Verlegers. - Monod 9255. - Carteret IV, S. 323. - Exemplar einer von Carteret und Monod nicht näher bestimmten Charge h.c. auf Vélin in der Ausstattung der 3. Charge von 775 Ex., vom Verleger Henri Piazza händisch im Druckvermerk auf Bl. 3v römisch nummeriert und mit einer Widmung des Verlegers an "Monsieur H. de Fels" versehen. - Die prachtvollen, ich leuchtenden Farben und vom Künstler im Stein monogrammierten Lithographien zu vier Märchen Puschkins im Stil der russischen Buchmalerei des 16. u. 17. Jh., deren Propagierung Sworykin ebenso wie seinem Mento Bilibin ein Anliegen war. - Die großflächiger lithographierten Blätter mittels vorgebundenen Seidenhemdchen geschützt. - Einige Seidenhemdchen mit Knickfalten, Papier gebräunt, insgesamt gut erhaltenes Exemplar des Kleinods mit außerordentlich farbkräftigen Lithos.
Modern Literature and Art – Very scarce copy hors commerce with publisher's dedication. - For references see above. - With 20 lithographic plates, where of 1 title page, furthermore 4 illustrated chapter titles and 4 borders enriched with large head-pieces and initials, also in chromolithography and partly gold and silver-heightened, as well as 12 large illustrated head-pieces in rust brown, those partly gold-heightened. - Copy of an edition h.c. on wove paper, not specified by Carteret and Monod, with one suite of coloured lithographs like the third state of 775 copies, present copy numbered by hand in Roman numerals by the publisher Henri Piazza in the imprint on fol. 3v and bearing a dedication by him to 'Monsieur H. de Fels'. - The striking lithographs for four fairy tales by Pushkinin in shining colours and monogrammed by the artist in stone, executed in the style of 16th and 17th century Russian book illumination, whose propagation was as important to Sworykin as it was to his mentor Bilibin. - The larger lithographs are protected by tissue papers. - Some tissue papers with creases, paper decently time-stained, overall a very well-preserved copy of this gem with the exceptional lithographs.
