Les Hérétiques aus: La Divine Comédie. 1960. Farblithographie auf Velin. 25,5 x 17 cm (33 x 26 cm). Signiert. Punktuell auf Unterlage montiert, im Passepartout freigestellt und hinter Glas gerahmt. - Wenige kleine, unscheinbare Fleckchen. Ansonsten sehr gut mit prächtigem Druck in kreidiger Wirkung, die Farbe nuanciert und frisch.

Online - Moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst – Michler-Löpsinger 1048. - In dieser Darstellung interpretiert Dalí den zehnten Gesang des Infernos, in dem Dante auf die Ketzer trifft, die in brennenden Gräbern bestraft werden. Dalís surrealistische Bildsprache verleiht der Szene eine verschwommene, fast traumartige Wirkung, die die Qualen und die spirituelle Isolation der Verdammten hervorhebt.

Otherwise very good with a splendid impression in chalky effect, the colour nuanced and fresh.- Michler-Löpsinger 1048 - One of 150 copies. - In this illustration, Dalí interprets the tenth canto of the Inferno, in which Dante encounters the heretics who are punished in burning graves. Dalí's surrealist imagery lends the scene a blurred, almost dreamlike quality that emphasises the torment and spiritual isolation of the damned.
