Zoologie - Ornithologie

Pen and watercolour on chamois-coloured paper. - Mostly with captions in English and Latin. - The sheets appear to come from a professional ornithological drawing album. They contain both European and non-European species, with a predominance of duck and partridge birds. The birds are mostly shown in their natural environment, with some sheets also depicting the clutch of eggs. Morris. - Partly with traces of earlier mounting on verso. Some mounted on backing paper. Some inconspicuous browning in margins and occasional minor brownstaining.
