(A8-C), Moderner Ppbd. in Halbpergament unter Verwendung eines alten rubrizierten Inkunabelblattes.

Filippo Beroaldo der Ältere (latinisiert Philippus Beroaldus (Senior) 1453-1505 ebenda) war der Onkel von Filippo Beroaldo dem Jüngeren und ein italienischer Philologe und neulateinischer Dichter. Filippo Beroaldo der Ältere war ein Schüler des Francesco del Pozzo aus Parma. Von 1472 an war er Lehrer für Rhetorik und Poesie in Bologna, dann in Parma, Paris und Mailand. 1479 kehrte er nach Bologna zurück und war dort seit 1503 als Nachfolger von Alberto Parisi auch Cancelliere. Zu seinen Freunden zählten Giovanni Pico della Mirandola und Konrad Mutian.

Filippo Beroaldo the Elder (Latinised Philippus Beroaldus (Senior) 1453-1505 ibid.) was the uncle of Filippo Beroaldo the Younger and an Italian philologist and Neo-Latin poet. Filippo Beroaldo the Elder was a pupil of Francesco del Pozzo from Parma. From 1472 he taught rhetoric and poetry in Bologna, then in Parma, Paris and Milan. In 1479 he returned to Bologna, where he succeeded Alberto Parisi as chancellor in 1503. His friends included Giovanni Pico della Mirandola and Konrad Mutian.
