Spät. Ldr. auf 5 Bünden mit Rotschnitt, goldgepr. RTitel, reicher Rücken- u. Stehkantenverg. (berieben, Kopfkapital mit Restaurierung).

Exlibris Abrahami Girard 1660 u. etwas braunfleckig, die ersten Bll. mit roten Unterstreichungen, einige Blätter mit kl. Feuchtigkeitsrand am oberen Blattrand, sonst insg. wohlerhaltenes und sauberes Exemplar.

Prints before 1600, Bibles, Classics in Original Languages – First edition of the commentary on the Apocalypse of John by the Benedictine monk and since 840 Bishop Haymo (Haimo) of Halberstadt (c. 790-853). - Later leather wtih red edges and rich spine gilt and gilt standing edges (rubbed, upper spine restored). - Title with ms. exlibris and somewhat brownstained, first leaves with red underlinings, some leaves with small dampstains at upper margin, otherwise well preserved and clean copy.
