Anna Redeker joins Jeschke Jádi in Berlin as Acquisition Director

BERLIN. With effect from August 26, 2024, Jeschke Jádi appoints art historian Anna Redeker as Acquisition Director.

The newly created position for the Modern and Contemporary Art department is part of the management team of Jeschke Jádi Auctions Berlin GmbH. Redeker brings many years of experience in the art trade and in private collections as well as extensive networking within the German and European art market to the acquisition of the Modern and Contemporary Art department.

“We are delighted to have gained Anna Redeker, a very experienced colleague with strong communication skills and excellent professional networks, for our company. Together, we are looking forward to her impulses for the further development of the auction program. With this personnel reinforcement, we are further expanding the Modern and Contemporary Art department as part of the implementation of our current corporate strategy. The appointment of Redeker also takes into account an increasingly growing younger clientele which focuses on international postwar art since 1960 and at the same time fulfills our wish for gender parity among the auction house's management,” said the managing directors Balázs Jádi and Hans-Joachim Jeschke, who, together with the Head of Modern and Contemporary Art, Gabriella Rochberg, intensively accompanied the appointment in a structured selection process lasting several months.
