6 Arbeiten aus: Self Portraits. 1971. Je Kaltnadelradierung auf cremefarbenem, kräftigen Velin. Blattmaße je 44,3 x 36,2 cm. Je signiert, datiert und nummeriert. 3 Arbeiten je mit dem Copyright-Trockenstempel unter der Darstellung. 1 Arbeit verso mit Annotationen von fremder Hand in Bleistift. - Vereinzelt mit wenig auffälligen braunen Fleckchen, auch verso. Dort je mit Klebespuren der ehemaligen Montierung. Insgesamt in wirklich gutem Zustand. Prachtvolle und gratige Drucke in sattem Schwarz mit herrlich mitdruckender Facette. Mit zarten Plattenton und kräftigem Plattenrand sowie dem vollen Rand und an der oberen und unteren Seite mit Schöpfrand.

Each signed, dated and numbered. 3 works each with the copyright dry stamp below the image. 1 work with annotations by another hand in pencil on verso. - Isolated with little noticeable brown spots, also on verso. There with traces of glue from the former mounting. At all in a really good condition. Splendid and fine impressions in rich black with wonderful facets. With delicate plate tone and strong platemark as well as the full margin and at the upper and lower side with scoop margin. - Each one of 25 copies. - From the series "Self Portraits", which comprises a total of 9 drypoint etchings. - Published by Petersburg Press, London 1971 (with the watermark). - Printed by Maurice Payne. - Included: The 6 original exhibition labels of the Farber Gallery, Brussels with the handwritten annotations to the works. - Rare and early works by the Pop Art artist.
